Woodlands Boronia opened in June 2025 inside Boronia Junction’s old bowling alley. When we rebuilt it, we opened part of the roof to the sky, so children play outdoors right in the middle of the centre.
Boronia families asked us for nature, so that’s what we built: native gardens, a kitchen garden, sandpits, a bike track, a vintage truck and a huge mural of native Australian animals. For your security the only way in is through two sets of coded automatic doors.

A calm, cosy room where your baby’s own routine for feeds and sleep comes first, with educators who get to know every little cue.

Hi, I’m Erin, Campus Manager at Woodlands Boronia.
With 12 years of experience in early childhood education, I bring a thoughtful and supportive leadership style to the centre. I began my career as an Assistant Educator and progressed all the way up to Centre Manager. I hold a Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care along with a Certificate IV in Business.
I am passionate about creating a learning environment where children feel confident to explore, discover and grow. I value play-based and inquiry-led learning, supporting children to build curiosity, creativity and strong foundations for future learning.
As Campus Manager, I am committed to mentoring my team and maintaining a high standard of education and care. Together, the team focuses on building meaningful relationships with children and families, creating a welcoming and supportive community.

I couldn’t imagine a better centre for my son, as a parent of a toddler with special needs, the staff are so caring and have an extreme amount of knowledge on how to collaboratively support him. The centre is easily accessible, clean, organised and friendly. My son actually eats the food they provide without turning his nose up and are super accommodating if it’s a meal he does not like.
We’ve been at Woodlands Boronia for just over a year now and we love it! First and foremost the staff (including management) are so lovely and welcoming. When anything has come up with our son we’ve been notified straight away just to keep us informed and to discuss it. The facilities are so beautiful! Everything is fresh and clean being a new centre and nothing looks old, dirty or broken. Being the old bowling alley in Boronia it is extremely safe! The only access point is two sets of automatic doors, which you need a code for. The children have a beautiful big and interactive open outdoor space, because the architects removed a big section of the roof to make it open air. There’s so many things for them to do too - sandpits, water jet area for hot days, a bike track, an old truck designed for imaginative play, a kitchen garden, a soccer area, bicycles and play equipment. Each room has its own earthy feel and many things for the kids to explore and learn from. We’re always seeing beautiful craft activities and games that our son learns, and his knowledge of things and vocabulary has grown so much too! There are always fun events too. Mothers Day was organised so beautifully with a high tea and many different activities set up for us mums to create bits and pieces with our little ones. It was such a wonderful event and the artwork my son and I did together has even been framed at home! If you’re after somewhere to love and look after your precious treasures while you’re away, then look no further.
We’ve had a wonderful experience with this childcare facility. The educators are attentive, friendly and professional, and communication with families is excellent. The centre is clean, organised and provides engaging activities that support learning and development. It gives us peace of mind knowing our child is in such caring hands

Booking 1 to 4 days a week? The daily fee is $163.50. Both are the full fee before the Child Care Subsidy.

Woodlands Boronia welcomes children from 6 weeks to school age, from our Walert babies room through to our Wurundjeri and Kinder rooms.
What are the opening hours at Woodlands Boronia?
Monday to Friday, 6:00am to 6:00pm. Contact the centre to confirm public holiday closures.
What security does Woodlands Boronia have?
Your child’s safety comes first. We have two sets of coded secure doors, CCTV, sign-in at the entrance for every visitor, a team who all hold a Working with Children Check, and internal safety protocols for emergencies. You can ask us about any of it on your tour.

What does the fee at Woodlands Boronia include?
The daily fee is $155 when you book 5 days, or $163.50 for 1 to 4 days, before the Child Care Subsidy. It includes breakfast, lunch and afternoon tea cooked by our chef, nappies, sunscreen and updates all day in the Owna app.
Can the chef cater for allergies and special diets?
Yes. Tell us what your child can and can’t eat, and our chef adapts their meals to match.
Do you have a program for 3 to 5 year olds?
Yes. Our 3+ program builds school readiness within long day care hours. Ask us about kinder options on your tour.
Is there parking?
